Our Story

Surface Started on September 7th 2023 as a movement of just a few people wanting to encounter God. No marketing, no goal but Jesus and souls saved and impacted. We spent the entire first year underground doing weekend gatherings at 4PM on Sundays.

Now we are a public visible movement growing monthly. We are doing life with people weekly and building an even deeper community. When people encounter Surface Church, they all agree that it's one big family!

From our eclectic worship culture to our bible rooted, spirit filled teaching. Surface has been a place that meets people right where they are! Pastor Cedric Cobb and his family moved their entire lives with the mission of Surface Church in their hearts. To Equip and Empower People to encounter God and discover purpose in Life through Jesus both locally and globally.

Jesus commanded us to go into all the earth, and to “make” disciples! At Surface Church, our mission is to see God’s purpose surface in people. We want to be known as “surfacers” of purpose in this world full of people searching for what’s lost.
 
As a community, we will accomplish this through creating corporate encounters that cultivates a hunger for personal encounters and devotion to God. Not only that, but we will equip and empower people through discipleship and demonstration of the Kingdom.
